Pallet rack wire decking

Wire decks drop onto the beams and give every level a solid, open-mesh floor. They stop pallets and cartons from falling through, catch broken boards, and let sprinkler water and light pass through.

Sizing wire deck correctly

Deck depth matches frame depth (a 42" frame takes a 42" deck). Width is usually 46" so two decks fill a 96" bay. Waterfall decks drape over step beams. Our used decks are flange universal style, with flared channel ends that sit on step beams and most box beams.

Supplied, installed and certified

Whatever system you choose, RackGuy handles it end to end: components from our used stock where it makes sense, installation by our own crews, and a PSR and load signage so it's ready for inspection. How certification works.

Common questions

What size wire deck do I need?

Match the deck depth to your upright frame depth and choose the width to fill your beam length, for example two 46 inch decks in a 96 inch bay.

How much weight can wire decking hold?

Common decks are rated around 2,000 to 2,500 lb uniformly distributed load. Ratings drop if the load is concentrated.

Is wire decking required?

Not always, but it is strongly recommended wherever people work below, loads are not on good pallets, or cartons are stored on the rack.
