Racking type

Redi-Rack pallet racking

Redi-Rack has a row of slots punched up the face of each upright. Beams lock into those slots with no bolts, which makes it fast to install and simple to adjust. It is the most common racking in Canadian warehouses, and the easiest to buy used.

Will it fit my racking?

Many manufacturers use a Redi-Rack compatible slot pattern, but connector shapes and slot spacing vary. Never assume. Bring us a photo of the upright face and a beam end connector and we'll confirm compatibility before you buy.

Beam locks are not optional

Every beam needs a working safety lock or clip so a forklift can't knock it up out of the slot. Missing locks are one of the most common findings in rack inspections. We supply and install them on every job.

Supplied, installed and certified

Whatever system you choose, RackGuy handles it end to end: components from our used stock where it makes sense, installation by our own crews, and a PSR and load signage so it's ready for inspection. How certification works.

Common questions

Is Redi-Rack compatible with other brands?

Often, but not always. Slot spacing and connector geometry vary. We verify fit from photos before quoting.

How much weight can Redi-Rack hold?

Capacity depends on frame height, column gauge, beam size and beam spacing. A common 96 inch step beam pair carries roughly 4,000 to 5,500 lb. Every system we install is load-rated and signed.

Is Redi-Rack or structural racking better?

Redi-Rack is lighter, cheaper and faster to reconfigure. Structural is stronger against forklift impacts and suits heavy or high-traffic applications. Many warehouses use both.
