How it stacks up
How we grade used rack
Grade A pieces have straight columns, clean welds, intact connectors and paint with only light scuffs. Grade B pieces are structurally sound with cosmetic wear, scrapes or mismatched paint. Anything bent, cracked, rusted through or with damaged connectors is scrapped. It never goes to a customer.
Used rack still has to pass inspection
In Ontario, used racking is held to the same standard as new. Components have to be matched to a known capacity, installed plumb and anchored, and load-rated. That is why we supply, install and certify as one job: you get a system with paperwork, not a pile of steel.

Common questions
Is used pallet racking safe?
Yes, when it is inspected, matched to rated capacities, installed correctly and load-signed. We reject damaged components and every system we install can be certified with a Pre-Start Health and Safety Review.
How much cheaper is used racking than new?
Savings vary by size and market, but used racking often costs 30 to 50 percent less than new, with no factory lead time.
