Rack protection and guards

Forklifts hit racking. Guards make sure they hit steel that's meant to be hit. Column guards protect the uprights where trucks turn, end-of-aisle guards take the corner hits, and netting stops product from falling into aisles.

Where to start

Protect every end-of-aisle frame first, then upright columns at aisle intersections and dock-side rows. A single bent upright can mean unloading a whole bay, so guards usually pay for themselves quickly.

Supplied, installed and certified

Whatever system you choose, RackGuy handles it end to end: components from our used stock where it makes sense, installation by our own crews, and a PSR and load signage so it's ready for inspection. How certification works.

Common questions

Are rack guards required in Ontario?

Guarding is expected wherever racking is exposed to vehicle impact, and inspectors and PSR engineers commonly call for it at aisle ends and intersections.

Column guard or end-of-aisle guard?

Column guards protect individual uprights. End-of-aisle guards protect the whole end frame from turning trucks. Most rows need both.

Do you install guards on existing racking?

Yes. We supply and anchor guards on any racking system.
